Deadline for Submissions Extended to 19 January 2001

The Chairman of the Committee of Inquiry into the Definition of Charities and Related Organisations, the Hon Ian Sheppard AO QC, today announced that the deadline for submissions to the Inquiry has been extended to 19 January 2001.

The deadline has been extended in response to approaches to the Committee from organisations and individuals intending to make a submission. The Committee understands the difficulties in meeting the deadline posed by the approach of the festive season.

The Committee is very keen to hear from as many organisations and individuals as possible and looks forward to their assistance.
